Phlexglobal customers are mainly large pharmaceutical companies. The fact that we take some medicines at home would not have taken place without clinical trials allowing the drugs to be marketed in different countries. This is exactly what the Phlexglobal role is, as a specialist provider of technology-enabled, Trial Master File (TMF & eTMF) document management solutions and other support services.
Phlexglobal - provider of technology-enabled Trial Master File document management solutions
Sarah Tucker – US General Manager
Our main role is to prepare medical documentation for Pharmaceutical/Biotech companies with our PhlexEview system as one of the main tools. When introducing new medical products or clinical trials proper documentation is mandatory. Of course, Trial Master File processing and evaluation must meet a number of legal requirements that vary from country to country (…) What we exactly do is helping our partners to bring their products to market and reach consumers as quickly as possible (…)To date, Phlexglobal has processed about 30 million pages of Trial Master File for pharmaceutical and medical companies. (…) Over the last few years, there has been a big change in the approach towards clinical documentation. In the past, these were paper versions of the documentation, a decisive advantage, while currently a large share in the evaluation of clinical trial documentation belongs to the electronic systems. The main advantage of electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) is that we can quickly send these documents to our branches and partners around the world, which greatly simplifies the whole process.
Why Poland and why Lublin ?
During the conference, Phlexglobal representatives repeatedly stressed that when considering potential locations for their new branch among Poland, was also China and India. They finally chose Poland for several important reasons. One of the key elements that influenced their decision was the high work ethic and quality of work in Poland. Excellent use of English and convenient time zones were further reasons. Lublin as a branch location was shortlisted due to its convenient transport links and impressive educational facilities available in the region.
Sarah Tucker – US General Manager
Every year the company is growing at a rate of 20%, and in the context of this global growth, the branch in Lublin is very important to us.
What will the future bring? New vacancies but only for candidates fulfilling certain requirements.
As we have already mentioned in "Phlexglobal chose Lubelskie" an earlier interview, with Anna Winiarska - Phlexglobal Site Manager in Lublin, the company is planning to expand its team, hiring more employees.
Anna Winiarska – Site Manager of the Phlexglobal Branch in Lublin
Phlexlgobal opened their branch in Lublin in May 2016. At first it consisted of 18 people, one manager and one site manager. As a result of the third round of recruitment this year, a further 14 new people joined our team and currently we have 54 employees on board. At the next recruitment drive, scheduled for September, we would like to employ about 10-15 people, mostly Trial Master File administrators. Ultimately, at the turn of 2017/18, we plan to have around 80 employees employed in our Lublin office. In addition, we will be creating an in-house Expert Team to ensure the next phase of our branch development.
One of the main requirements for potential candidates is to communicate proficiently in English. This is due to the fact that English is the official working language across the company’s global operations.
Anna Winiarska – Site Manager of the Phlexglobal Branch in Lublin
This is a very responsible job, requiring a lot of concentration, accuracy and excellent English skills. We are looking for career-oriented people who always pay attention to detail at work.
